NATIONAL STUDENTS LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
Venue: Pastoral centre, Nagpur. Dates: 17 to 21 November.
Theme: "Agents of Connectivity"
Day 1: 17.11.2017
National Students Leadership Training Program [NSLTP] (Hindi) for the year 2017 began with the Holy Mass in Pastoral Centre, Nagpur. The Inaugural program started at sharp 09:00 a.m., Fr. Chetan Machado (National Chaplain), Fr. Alexander Jesudasan (Regional Chaplain of MP region), Fr. Philip Topno (Diocesan Chaplain of Nagpur) were welcomed by Glen and Josmita (Delegate), NSLTP started with welcome note & with lighting of the lamp. Followed by that the guest messages was delivered by Fr. Chetan Machado followed by him, Fr. Alexander Jesudasan & Fr. Philip Topno delivered their message. Soon after the inauguration ceremony students has a brief Introduction about themselves. Important Announcements were made by National Chaplain regarding the NSLTP.
By 10 a.m., Glen and Josmita welcomed Chetan Machado to give the first session based on “Where I have to become an Agent of Connectivity? (SEE)”. Students were told about the importance about the SEE, various incidents and case studies were stared to them to have different perspective to see the society. Students showed lot of interest throughout the session. Soon after the session students were clarified all their clarifications based the “Where I have to become an Agent of Connectivity? (SEE)”. After the first session students had time for refreshing.
After the Tea break, Part two of the session I started with an introduction about the exposure. A small break was given to them to recall all the things happened from the morning.
By 2 p.m., Session II was conducted by Fr. Alexander Jesudasan, he made a very clear how to see the society if Jesus was there in the situation. Father acted like people who needed help in the society and made the students to understand the concept practically. It was highly an interactive session where each one of the student gave their active participation. Students were divided in groups and instructed / guided where, how to learn and observe in exposure visit.
By 4 p.m., after the break, students were divided into three group and send to three different respective places for exposure visit.
By 6 p.m., Students were asked to group up in their cells to prepare their exposure report in the form of Chat presentation.
By 8 p.m., after the short prayer by Fr. Chetan Machado we all had a very good dinner. Followed by students had their chat presentation. After the presentation, they had a cultural program in groups.
After the cultural program, few instruction were given by Fr. Chetan Machado.
Students has a short Evaluation of the day and the day ended with the short prayer.
