The black curtains closed in,
The winds howled,
The skies wept,
But the little light burned on.
The ground trembled,
The trees swayed,
The owl hooted,
Yet the little light burned on.
This flame in my heart was lit by YCS/YSM and lit in me the spark of love and service. This was when I carried on the responsibility of being a YCS/YSM student. I persevered doing my duty as a DTS member of Bangalore, Karnataka in the year 2001-2002. I continued to be a RTS member in the year 2002-2004.
The day was not far when I was elected as the National EXCO for the years 2004-2007 along with Winston from Shimoga. That was a moment of deep Joy for me. But I was unable to join hands and be a part of YCS/YSM as my health conditions forced me to back off from my responsibility. This however did not stop me from being a YCS/YSMer. I still carry on the light of YCS/YSM helping people in every little way I can.
Thanking you, with lots of love
