Writing about Christmas I guess my first duty would be to wish you all a Merry Christmas this December... So as the Christmas season approaches our minds are bound to wander around on Christmas parties, Family get together, Whose gonna be Santa..?, Gifts, sweets, cake and wine and lots more I’m sure..
But have we ever shared the true Joy with our families and friends that Christmas day brings us is the question that we got to answer as we prepare for the happy day...
Well why do you think God had to send His only son to this world..? Many answers may pop out in your mind right now, but let me put it my way... By the act of disobedience to God that our first parents Adam and Eve had committed, we were bondaged by sin... But God promised that there would send a Saviour who would break the bondage of sin and set us free...
But why Jesus had to come as a mere simple human being..?? Why couldn’t he have come out in His godly form... or even as a great ruler?? Well, God wanted his people to understand the message of salvation in very simple terms... Jesus humbled himself and became man to show to the world that he went through the same struggle that every human goes through and yet was able to overcome all the trials and finally through His death bought salvation on the mankind...
So after what I told you, you must be wondering why I had to write all this... well just to remind you that what the Christmas day has brought to us... So this Christmas I invite you to let Jesus take birth in your hearts so that you can experience His Love and Care as I have when I invited Him into my heart... Let Jesus be a more of a personal God to you this year and the Joy of his coming may spread through you like light in darkness… Wishing you a joyous Christmas this December and a Very happy and blessed new year too…
